For 25 years, Weston Jewelers has been part of life’s most meaningful moments, celebrating love, milestones, and memories in the heart of Weston Town Center. What began as a small local jewelry store has grown into a trusted multi-store brand and one of South Florida’s premier destinations for fine jewelry and timepieces, building a family legacy for generations to come.

The Beginning:

Born in Argentina and raised on Long Island, Edward Dikes was introduced to the jewelry industry at an early age, working alongside his father in their business. After relocating to South Florida in 1980, he continued building his experience, developing a lifelong passion for the industry and the personal connections it creates. In 1992, he married Tracey, a Montreal native and prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Together, they would lay the foundation for Weston Jewelers.

When the couple settled in Weston to start their family, Edward and Tracey embraced the opportunity to build something of their own.

In 2001, they opened Weston Jewelers in Weston Town Center, just over 1,000 square feet. Supported by respected brands and industry partners who believed in their vision, the store quickly earned a reputation defined by trust, integrity, and exceptional service.

Five years later, Weston Jewelers became an Authorized Cartier Retailer and expanded its presence in Weston Town Center.

Nearly a decade later, the addition of a Rolex showroom marked another defining milestone and the realization of a lifelong dream for Ed.

As Weston itself grew from a small community of 5,000 into the vibrant city it is today, with over 68,000 residents, Weston Jewelers grew alongside it.

Expansion:

In 2019, Weston Jewelers expanded beyond Weston Town Center, opening a multi-brand boutique inside the newly expanded Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, home to the iconic Guitar Hotel in Hollywood.

The 1,800-square-foot store introduced the brand to visitors from across South Florida and around the country. The move represented a new chapter, bringing the Weston Jewelers experience to a global destination. Recognizing the opportunity within this dynamic setting, the family also opened
a dedicated Hublot boutique, strengthening Weston Jewelers’ presence within the luxury landscape.

The Second Generation:

From an early age, Danni and Jesse, the Dikes’ children, showed interest in the industry. They looked forward to coming into the store, helping put product away, and sharing ideas about the business at the dinner table. Each would ultimately bring their own path and perspective to the family business.

Jesse graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing before earning his Graduate Gemologist certification from the Gemological Institute of America. Returning to South Florida in 2019, he stepped into a leadership role at the Hard Rock locations, helping guide the continued success of both Weston Jewelers and the Hublot boutique. Since then, he has focused on building and strengthening his team, laying the foundation for continued growth in the years ahead.

Danni followed a different path, graduating from the University of Miami and building a career in broadcast journalism. She worked as a News Anchor and Multimedia Reporter in Savannah, Georgia, and later as a Lifestyle Producer, Reporter, and News Anchor for NBC6 in South Florida. After initially supporting the business through social media and community storytelling, she transitioned full-time into the family business in 2023 and now leads marketing and brand strategy, overseeing initiatives that drive growth both in-store and online. She works closely with Tracey to continue evolving the brand’s presence while honoring the values that have guided the business from the start.

Today, multiple members of the Dikes family can be found in-store, maintaining the personal relationships and hands-on leadership that define Weston Jewelers.

The Legacy:

With the next generation helping lead the future, Edward turned his vision toward a new chapter. Slated to open in late 2027, Weston Jewelers on Las Olas will be a five-story, 40,707-square-foot flagship designed around an elevated client experience, blending refined luxury with the warmth and family values that have always remained at the heart of the brand.

Weston Jewelers will continue to proudly operate its existing locations while expanding into this new home, carrying forward the same standards of excellence the community has trusted for 25 years.

The greatest privilege remains sharing life’s most meaningful milestones, from engagements to anniversaries, and watching generations of families grow alongside Weston Jewelers. The Dikes family is honored to celebrate 25 years with longtime clients and those just beginning their journey with Weston, and looks forward to the moments still to come.
