Weston Jewelers Helps Keep Families Together with Donation to Conine Clubhouse
January 29th, 2021
The Conine Clubhouse provides a free, comfortable residence for the families of children receiving care at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The facility is located on the hospital campus, which provides easy access for loving parents who are visiting their children and relieves some of the financial burden of having to find their own accommodations on top of the medical expenses.
The Conine Clubhouse is a nonprofit residence which relies solely on annual fundraisers and individual donations. On January 8th, 2021, Weston Jewelers presented the clubhouse with a check for $12,741. During the month of December in 2020, a portion of each purchase made from Weston Jewelers contributed to this final amount. Despite the difficult year, the community showed up in overwhelming support. Weston Jewelers would like to thank every customer for making this donation possible.
Since opening in 1997, Conine Clubhouse has welcomed over 800 families each year from across the United States and other countries. When you see how the clubhouse provides a “home away from home” for families, it emphasizes the importance of this organization. Ed and Tracey are proud to support Jeff Conine and the Conine Clubhouse in their mission.
